Collection Preview: Icelandic Poppies

I have wanted to capture the beauty of Icelandic poppies for a long time. I would see them on the side of the road, in my Pinterest feed, at weddings; I felt like they were waiting for me. And then one day I found some at a local florist while picking up a bouquet for something else. I decided it was time to start.

Each piece is an experiment - to me, something new. They are perfect to me in the same way flowers are - slightly uneven, organic and happy to take up space as they unfurl.

This collection embodies a lot of self discovery, anticipation for warmer weather, and a lightness I haven’t felt in a long time. It’s my first step towards a life of doing what I love.

What to Expect:

Each drawing is on premium 100% cotton bristol vellum drawing paper, initialed on the front and signed on the back. They have been sealed with spray varnish to prevent smudges, and they are available as is or in 1” deep wood frames.
